Salt Lake Winter

This is one of a few winter weddings I will be posting. Check back for more later! Yesterday, I was at the Salt Lake Temple. The sun was out and kept us fairly warm, better so than the last many temple weddings at below 20 degrees...sheesh. This video has a slower pace and fits perfectly the mood of the day, where everything seemed to be moving at the beat of the happy couple who savored every second of their wedding day. It was a very nice day, thank you to the families of the bride and groom.

re:frame 08

It has now been a week that I have been back from reframe and WOW!! It was inspiring! There was-literally-the most amazing people there. I felt so overwhelmed by the positive atmosphere that was created between peers in the industry. I definitely felt cooler after having been able to spend time with all of you who were there and I feel very lucky to have been fortunate enough to be one of only 50 who were able to attend this incredible event.

While in New Orleans I learned bourbon street is not for the weak at heart. This place is jumping jiving and wailing till the wee hours of the mourning, maybe even all night--I didn't make it quite that far. I arrived at 3 am on Sunday night / Mon morning and the streets were still full of people and the city was hopping. This is truly a city rich in culture where the chance to go and really do something is always available. Like a night of enthusiastic karaoke or a hole in the wall club with some great music.  My recommendation is the peanut butter bacon cheese burger at YO MOMMAS--the best burger I have EVER tasted!

This highlight reel is just a quick glimpse into this good time of enlightenment and fun that was enjoyed while in the big easy.  Watch for a leprechaun, mysterious Utah filmmaker in a long wig, and for most of the talented presenters at reframe.

Out of the office October 6th, 7th, & 8th

There is a move towards innovating wedding films and events to the next level. And I have the privelage of being a part of that movement; going to this once in a lifetime event in New Orleans. I will be surrounded by the absolute best in the industry WORLD WIDE! It is exciting to learn from the best and take those skill sets that they will bring to the table and implement them in capturing and documenting your weddings! Look for more posts on this event!

Bountiful Temple Wedding

Kade & DeAnn's wedding was all about family. They were able to bring their two families together from two completely different states meeting up here in Utah.

And today the rain worked around us and we had a great time as we celebrated this couple's HILARIOUSLY happy and cute relationship.

Date Video - Bowling

The date video that started out as simply, "going bowling" turned into a high energy--fun afternoon. Mindy & Quinn led us to play air hockey, basketball, win the jackpot on tickets, and play a little hidden camera with a whoopie cushion. These two were just themselves and we had a great time. One day, their cute little kids are going to love seeing their parents just enjoying their time together and so much in love--while they were still only dating. Enjoy!

Salt Lake Temple

I was able to film at the Salt Lake Temple today and I had a LOT of fun with this couple and their family, notwithstanding the extreme heat.

The groom made my job EXTREMELY easy. He had his bride smiling and laughing the entire time-you could tell that she absolutely adored him-keep it up Troy.

The great thing about filming at the Salt Lake Temple is the sheer vastness of possibilities that are available to be captured on film. There is always a GREAT spot that can be found no matter how busy it is that day. This song fit perfectly as it simply complimented the wonderful surroundings at the temple and really highlighted the relationship this fun couple has.
